The Alumni Travel Protection Plan provides peace of mind and protection while traveling with fellow alumni. The plan pays up to the maximum policy limit for certain pre-paid non-refundable trip payments and cancellation penalties due to unforeseeable sickness, injury, or death of an alumnus/a traveler, family member, or traveling companion. You choose the tier of coverage – either Basic or Enhanced – that best fits your needs and budget. 

Examples of trip cancellation/trip interruption covered perils include:

• Sudden illness or injury
• Weather delays, including fire, flood, or other natural disasters
• Called to emergency military duty or subpoenaed for jury duty
• Employment transfer that requires relocation or layoff/termination from place of employment
• A domestic or international terrorist incident
• Death or hospitalization of your host at destination
